1992 TOYOTA Hiace 4wd Bus

I'd be lying if I said this van doesn't make me jealous. It's the colors. The cream, mustard, and burgundy combo couldnt be better. Certainly more of a 70s color pallet, as opposed to the 80s / 90s vibe with most of these rigs.

This Hiace is built on the rare LH117 bus chassis, with belted seating for 10 passengers. The wheel base is the same as the mid-length Hiace Super GL, with a 1000kg load capacity. The van is powered by Toyota's bulletproof 3L diesel, with 5-speed manual transmission and hi/lo range 4wd.

Much love went into making this van 'road-trip-ready'. Consistent with all the vans we sell, she has received a full timing belt job and maintenance update: new timing belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new camshaft and crankshaft seal, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, transmission fluid, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh differential oil. On top of all that, she has brand new all-terrain tires and a small suspension lift. Many other smaller repairs and upgrades were made during the inspection and testing process, including all new coolant/heater hoses, and a rebuild on the diesel injection pump.
