1996 TOYOTA HIACE SUPER CUSTOM LIMITED 4WD DIESEL VAN
Here is a set of preliminary photos of the 1996 Toyota HiAce Super Custom Limited 4wd van we have in the works. Keep in mind these are preliminary photos, so please reference the sold section of our website for images of what the final product will look like.
This HiAce has the 1KZ 3.0 liter turbo diesel engine, with automatic transmission, and full time 4wd. It clocks a low 71,000 original miles, which is really only getting started for Toyota's 1KZ model diesel engine, know to exceed 500,000 miles before a rebuild is required.
The van appears to be in good overall condition, with only minor cosmetic damage. It features dual airbags, and the triple sunroof glass.
There are an assortment of small dents to the rear right side, rear left side, and rear hatch (see photos). We will touch up any exposed metal with matching touch up paint, but we do not intend to repair them.
There appears to be black take over a couple spots in the rear trunk section. It is difficult to know the condition of the vinyl wall and seat upholstery underneath the tape. We will remove the tape and assess the damage when we receive the van. If there is damage, we can replace the right panel for $100 above the base price of the van. We can replace the back seat for $200 above the base price of the van. This can be specified later during the overhaul process.
We do not intend to remove the stickers inside the front seat area.
There is a dent on the rear hatch, left of the rear glass (see pictures). Options for its repair are listed below.
Consistent with all the vans we sell, it will receive a full timing belt job and maintenance update: new timing belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new camshaft and crankshaft seal, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, all new coolant hoses, transmission fluid, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh front and rear differential oil, fresh transfer case oil, new motor mounts, new alternator, and an engine computer service. On top of all that, she'll get brand new all-terrain tires, and a modest suspension lift. Most of our vans also receive a front brake and hub overhaul. Finally, the van will receive a full inspection, and any other incidental repairs will be made prior to the final sale release. Just before the final transfer, it will receive a full detail, inside and out.
