1992 TOYOTA Hiace Super GL 4wd Diesel Van
Here is a set of preliminary photos of the 1992 Toyota HiAce Super GL 4wd van I have in the works. Keep in mind these are preliminary photos, so please reference the sold section of my website for images of what the final product will look like. Here are a couple Hiace Super GL models I recently customized and sold:

This HiAce has a diesel engine, with 5-speed manual transmission, and high/low range 4wd transfer case. It clocks a low 27,000 original miles, which is really only getting started for Toyota's 3L model 2.8 liter diesel engine, known to exceed 500,000 miles before a rebuild is required.
This Super GL looks to have been very well kept, and used as some kind of light personnel transporter. There is a small amount of cosmetic damage along the lower edges of the body which we do not intend to repair, see pics.
Consistent with all the vans we sell, it will receive a full timing belt job and maintenance update: new timing belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new camshaft and crankshaft seal, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, transmission fluid, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh front and rear differential oil, fresh transfer case oil, and all new coolant carrying hoses. On top of all that, she'll get brand new all-terrain tires and a modest suspension lift. The van will also receive a full inspection, and any other incidental repairs will be made prior to the final sale release. Just before the final transfer, it will receive a full detail, inside and out.
A large part of what you gain when purchasing your vehicle from Vanlife Northwest is our knowledge base and experience throughout the life of your adventure mobile. I can confidently say no one in the US has more experience with these vans, and solutions for problems gleaned only from that first hand experience.
Pricing: We complete all of our full mechanical overhaul work cited above, detail the van inside and out, and repaint the bumpers black, selling the van for $32,000.
